Kathleen Conklin, Director

Kathleen Conklin The elegance, power and freedom of movement is not solely the language of dancers, but attainable by anyone through the principles of pilates. This technique is grounded firmly in the mechanics of the skeletal system, the geometrically increasing power of coordinated musculature, and the rejuvenation of the circulatory system through breathing - systems inherent in each human body. In the last decade, Conklin transitioned from a career in law to teaching from the discipline of the pilates Method of Physical and Mental Conditioning. In teaching pilates the last 20,000 hours, she has begun to comprehend the vast shimmering depth of this work.
