Thank you for your interest in the pilates mat exercise training session offered by Body Conscious, LLC studios. This is an invigorating path to your stronger mind and body.

The pilates Method of Physical and Mental Conditioning is the systematic progression of exercises developed by Joseph pilates before 1926 to promote strength, flexibility, balance and control through the coordination of mind, body, breath and spirit. We provide small-group instruction on the basic/intermediate mat exercises, including the mechanics of the movement and the breathing and imagery that enhance the work.

The Technique Training class meets two hours per week for three weeks. You will learn approximately 24 of the exercises and receive a 'cheat' sheet with descriptions of the exercises. Information on videos and useful books will also be offered.

Comfortable clothes are suggested; socks are optional; mats are provided.

This discipline will give you power, elegance and freedom of movement. It will make your body smile. I look forward to bringing its fascinating contours to you.

Mat Technique Training Class

Dates for the next Mat Technique Training class series have not yet been finalized.

Class duration is 75 minutes each, for 5 classes.

The tuition for the training class is $150 for the six-plus hours.
